Seller Prep Checklist

Preparing the property ahead of time helps ensure the best possible photos and a smooth shoot. Please review the checklist below prior to the scheduled appointment.

General

  1. Remove clutter from floors, countertops, and visible surfaces

  2. Put away personal items (photos, paperwork, toiletries)

  3. Hide trash cans, pet items, and small appliances

  4. Replace burnt-out light bulbs

  5. Open all blinds, shades, and curtains

  6. Turn off ceiling fans and TVs

Living Areas & Bedrooms

  1. Straighten furniture and pillows

  2. Clear coffee tables, nightstands, and desks

  3. Tuck away loose cables, chargers, and remotes

  4. Make beds neatly and evenly

Bathrooms

  1. Clear sinks, tubs, and shower ledges

  2. Remove personal items (toothbrushes, toiletries, towels not in use)

  3. Close toilet lids

  4. Replace or neatly fold towels

Kitchen

  1. Clear countertops as much as possible

  2. Remove dish racks, sponges, and soap bottles

  3. Hide magnets, notes, and photos from the refrigerator

  4. Ensure appliances are clean and free of streaks

Exterior

  1. Move vehicles out of the driveway

  2. Remove trash bins, hoses, and yard tools from view

  3. Sweep patios, walkways, and entry areas

  4. Ensure doors and windows are clean

Pets

  1. Secure pets away from shooting areas

  2. Remove pet beds, bowls, and litter boxes if possible

Day of the Shoot

  1. Property should be fully photo-ready at the scheduled start time

  2. Please notify the photographer in advance if additional time or preparation is needed

Properties are photographed as presented at the time of the shoot. Preparing the home in advance helps minimize delays and ensures the best results.
